Gardenia Gonzalez has a diverse work experience in the field of design and user experience. Gardenia started their career as an Information Architect and User Experience Intern at FAO in 2010. Gardenia later worked as a User Experience Designer at Volopapilio and as a UI/UX Designer at Nativo Digital. In 2014, they worked as an Independent Design Consultant at FAO. From 2017 to 2018, they worked as an Interface Designer at Mad Paws, where they were responsible for designing user interfaces and creating a consistent design language. Gardenia then worked as a Freelance Visual/UI/UX Designer at Gardenia Gonzalez. In 2019, they joined whiteGREY as a Senior User Experience Designer. Gardenia worked as a User Experience Manager and Product Design Lead at Big Red Group from 2021 to 2022. Currently, they are the Product Design Lead at Freely.
Gardenia Gonzalez has a Master's degree in Interaction Design and Electronic Arts from the University of Sydney, which they obtained from 2015 to 2016. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Information Design from the Universidad de las Américas Puebla, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. In 2017 to 2018, Gardenia pursued a Master of Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing at Asia Pacific International College. Additionally, Gardenia has obtained certifications in "Designing Influence" and "Leading Highly Effective UX Teams" from the Nielsen Norman Group in 2022.
