Ricardo Averion

Ricardo Averion is an experienced metallurgist with a strong background in various roles across the steel industry. Previously, Ricardo has served as a Technician Service Engineer and Plant Metallurgist at Big River Steel, and held the position of Sheet Quality Manager at USS-POSCO Industries. Additional experience includes roles such as Senior Galvanize Metallurgist at Severstal NA, Heavy Section Mill Metallurgist at Steel Dynamics, Inc., and various positions including Cold Mill Metallurgist and Galvanize Metallurgist at Nucor Corporation. Ricardo holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Metallurgy from The University of Alabama, earned between 1990 and 1994.
