Malcolm Douglas has extensive work experience in finance and accounting roles. MALCOLM started their career as an Audit Senior at Arthur Andersen & Co. in 1981 and then moved to RSM US LLP as an Audit Senior from 1985 to 1988. In 1988, they joined East Bank Club as a Controller, where they supervised a team and implemented internal controls to improve accuracy and increase revenues. From 1994 to 2016, Douglas worked at Lake Forest Graduate School of Management as the VP of Finance and Chief Financial Officer (CFO). During their tenure, they held various responsibilities and contributed to financial management. In 2016, they joined Loyola University Chicago as the Associate Vice President and Controller, overseeing financial reporting, audit coordination, and initiating process redesign for increased efficiency. Douglas also worked as a Financial Consultant at Mission Plus Strategy, where they provided financial analysis and operational reviews for non-profit organizations. MALCOLM then served as the Interim CFO for Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago & Northwest Indiana, conducting an operational assessment and implementing transformation initiatives. In 2018, they were recruited as the Interim CFO for Pillars Community Health, where they designed and led a financial integration plan for a post-merger organization. Douglas is currently the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Big Shoulders Fund, where they hold a leadership position in finance.

Malcolm Douglas holds an MBA from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Accountancy degree in Accounting and Finance at the University of the Witwatersrand. Moreover, they also acquired a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree from the University of the Witwatersrand, majoring in Accounting, Law, Tax, and Auditing.
