Lauren Nicholas has a diverse work experience, starting with their roles at Big Spaceship. Lauren began as a Senior Community Strategist, working with clients such as Google and King to create social content and develop innovative business initiatives. Later, they became an Associate Content Director and eventually the Director and Discipline Lead, Content & Community. At MXM Social, Lauren was a Community Manager, primarily handling entertainment clients like Syfy Network and ABC Family. Lauren reported on platform analytics, managed assets, and monitored sentiment on social and digital news platforms. Prior to that, they worked as a Social Media Strategist at Syracuse University, where they maintained the university's social media presence and participated in cross-platform strategy. Additionally, they served as a Student Facilitator for a social media class and contributed to class discussions. Lauren also had brief roles as a Buzz Builder at Likeable and a Social Media Consultant at Touro Law Center. In their role as Vice President of Campus Relations at Alpha Gamma Delta Alpha Chapter, Lauren took charge of the sorority's social media presence and acted as the primary Community Manager. Lauren also handled communication and ran a team responsible for public relations and activities within the university. At Student Centers & Programming Services, Lauren worked as a Venue Manager, ensuring customer satisfaction and managing events on campus. Lauren gained experience in the marketing industry as a Public Relations Intern at BR Guest, conducting research and blogging. Lastly, they served as a Public Relations Intern at Syracuse University Career Services and as a Social Media Intern at The Opportunities Project. Lauren's work experience demonstrates their expertise in content creation, community management, social media strategy, and event management.
