Joe Longo

Joe Longo is an experienced professional in sports marketing and event management, currently serving as the Assistant Director of Branding at Big Ten Conference since February 2024. Longo holds multiple roles within notable sports organizations, including as a member of the Fan and Events team for the Chicago Blackhawks and a Fan Services Team member for the Chicago Bears. Longo's significant contributions at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign include overseeing marketing initiatives for athletic teams, setting attendance records for Illini Softball, and serving as DJ and marketing coordinator. Previous experiences include gameday production at Rockford IceHogs, a front office internship with Chicago Dogs Baseball, and a sports information internship at the University of Illinois. Longo's early career included coaching and managing high school sports teams while creating a social media presence for athletics. Longo earned a Bachelor's degree in Advertising from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
