Megan Althoff

Megan Althoff is an experienced communications professional currently serving as Director of Communications at the Big Ten Conference, a position held since June 2016. In various roles within the organization, including Associate and Assistant Director of Communications, Megan has been the primary sports contact for multiple sports and has coordinated major events such as the Big Ten Football Championship Game. Previous experience includes serving as Graduate Assistant at The University of Iowa, where significant media coordination efforts took place for the women's gymnastics team during the NCAA regionals. Other roles include Sports Information Director and Sales Associate positions, complemented by a dual Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Theatre Arts from the University of Iowa.
