Kate Webber has had a successful career in multimedia, web, and print production since 2005. Kate began their career as a Founding Member and Curator of Design Guild SF in 2005, and then worked as a Photo Assistant for WIRED in 2003. From 2005 to 2021, they ran their own business as a Director, Producer, and Photographer. In 2019, they joined MasterClass as a Creative Producer and Director, where they collaborated on all stages of production, including directing 50+ crew sets with multiple units. In 2021, they joined Big Think as a Sr. Creative Producer and Director, where they are responsible for directing and producing editorial, sponsored, and educational content, as well as acting as Creative Director for marketing photography. In 2015, they directed and produced the award-winning feature length documentary film 'Kim Swims', which has been distributed globally on Netflix, Amazon, and Kanopy.
Kate Webber holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Studio Art from Bucknell University. Kate has also taken courses in Commercial Photography at Brooks Institute, and at the New England School of Photography. Additionally, they have attended the Photo Xpeditions: Iceland Photography Workshop with Mary Ellen Mark, and has taken courses at Maine Media.
