Zach Casper

Zach Casper's work experience includes a range of roles in engineering and leadership positions. Zach is currently the VP of Engineering at BigBear.ai, where they oversee the development and growth of the company's Cyber and Engineering capabilities. Prior to that, they served as the Sr. Director of Cyber & Engineering at the same company, leveraging their expertise in cybersecurity engineering, embedded and reverse engineering, and full-stack development.

Before joining BigBear.ai, Zach was the Founding Designer at ZAiden Design & Engineering, a small design house specializing in logo creation and branding consulting. Zach also worked as a Principal Engineer at Parsons Corporation and as a Director of Federal Software Services at Blackpoint Technologies.

Zach's earlier experience includes roles as a Senior Engineer at Fourth Dimension Engineering, D.C. Chapter Director at The Last Well, and Lead Engineer - Systems at General Dynamics AIS. Zach also worked as a Senior Engineer at General Dynamics and held engineering roles at EDO-EVI and the Department of Defense, where they designed and developed embedded systems for various applications.

Zach Casper earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from The University of Akron in 2003. In addition to their degrees, Zach also holds certifications in Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute, Real Time Web with Node.js from Code School, and Scrum Master Certified (SMC) from LitheSpeed.
