About the role 🚀

Bigblue’s first HR Manager will serve as the pivotal force within our human resources department, ensuring operational excellence, legal compliance, and strategic development. This role requires a detail-oriented, proactive individual capable of managing internal HR functions and external partnerships and providing strategic insight to align HR initiatives with our company's ambitious goals.

HR administration:

  • Manage day-to-day HR operations, including contract lifecycle management (onboarding to offboarding, amendments, promotions);
  • Oversee benefits administration, employee relations, and expense management;
  • Provide top-notch HR support to our teams in Spain and the UK.
  • Liaise with external entities such as occupational health services, URSSAF, payroll services (Payfit), and health insurers.

Legal & social relations:

  • Be the go-to person for the Employee Committee (CSE) and our legal counsel;
  • Ensure compliance with national labor laws and the Syntec collective agreement, maintaining legal HR documentation;
  • Advise Founders and Team Leaders on labor law changes and Syntec rules;

Strategic HR planning:

  • Contribute to developing training programs to enhance skills and foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation;
  • Roll out employee wellness initiatives that make Bigblue a great place to work, contributing to overall employee satisfaction;
  • Build the infrastructure to ensure clear career paths can be designed for every positions, giving employees visibility on growth opportunities and the necessary tools to achieve their career goals;
  • Leverage people-related data to make strategic decisions

Requirements 🙌

  • min3 years' experience in a HR management position
  • Native in French and fluent in spoken and written English
  • Hustling multi-tasker and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Great problem-solving skills, taking a consultative approach to finding the best solution
  • Team-player and contribute positive energy to a team
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
