Kilian Demeulemeester has a diverse work experience in software engineering and research. In 2014, they completed their Master's thesis at LIRMM, where they developed software for needle localization in ultrasound images. From 2015 to 2016, they worked at SNAPKIN as a Research Development Software Engineer, focusing on generating 3D digital architectural BIM models. Kilian then became the Director of Research Development at SNAPKIN, where they designed and launched a complete point cloud processing pipeline. In 2019, Kilian joined YellowScan as a Software Engineer Project Lead, where they developed algorithms and improved the user experience for creating and processing point cloud data. Currently, they are working as a Software Engineer at Bigblue.

Kilian Demeulemeester's education history begins in 2008 when they attended Lycée Champollion for an unspecified degree and field of study. They studied there until 2011. In 2011, Kilian enrolled at CentraleSupélec and pursued an Engineer's degree until 2014. Alongside this, in 2013, Kilian began their studies at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, specializing in Systems, Control, and Robotics. They completed their Master of Science degree at KTH in 2015.
