Janet Houck

Janet Houck currently serves as the Knowledge Team Lead at Commerce, beginning in January 2024, where responsibilities include writing and refining knowledge base user documentation and guides pertaining to BigCommerce and various third-party products. Janet has extensive experience at BigCommerce since March 2017, initially starting as a Knowledge Base Specialist and advancing through roles including Technical Writer, Senior Knowledge Base Specialist, and co-chair of the BigFamily ERG, where initiatives focus on promoting company culture across international offices and organizing community events. Janet holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature from Queen's University, obtained between 1998 and 2002.
