David Emerson

David Emerson is a Senior Research Scientist and Geomicrobiologist at Bigelow Laboratory for Ocean Sciences. Prior to their current position, David was a Research Scientist at ATCC from January 1996 to December 2007. David's research focuses on the study of microorganisms and their interactions with the environment.

David Emerson has a Ph.D in Microbiology from Cornell University, and has also attended the College of the Atlantic and Michigan State University.

David Emerson works with David Fields - Senior Research Scientist, Zooplankton Ecologist, Steven Profaizer - Chief Communications Officer, and Alex Michaud - Research Scientist. David Emerson reports to Deborah Bronk, President & CEO.
