Michael Wilkerson

Michael Wilkerson has extensive experience in operations and manufacturing, with a focus on leadership roles. Michael is currently serving as the Vice President of Operations and Manufacturing at Bigfoot Biomedical. Prior to this, they held the position of Vice President of Operations at Zoetis Inc., and Vice President of Operations at Abaxis, Inc. Michael also served as the Senior Director of Manufacturing and Materials at Abaxis, Inc. Earlier in their career, Wilkerson held the role of Vice President of Manufacturing at Inverness Medical Innovations. Michael has also worked as the Director of Manufacturing at Cholestech, and held various positions at Quidel, including Director of Operations and Manager of Quality Systems/ Manufacturing. Wilkerson began their career as a Quality Control Supervisor at Metra BioSystems.

Michael Wilkerson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, General from San Jose State University, where they studied from 1987 to 1992. Michael later pursued an MBA in Operations Management at Santa Clara University from 1996 to 2001.
