Tom Murtagh

Tom Murtagh is the Vice President of Go-To-Market Operations at BigID. Tom has over 25 years of experience in sales and marketing operations.

Murtagh started their career at AppNexus, where they were the Sr Director of Global Business Operations. Tom was responsible for commercial compensation plan design and administration, quota-setting and territory design, board material creation, commercial reporting, contract operations, and pooled account management of 400+ SMB accounts.

Tom then became the Vice President of Field Operations at Collibra. In this role, they were responsible for all aspects of field operations, including sales enablement, market development, customer success, and partner management.

Most recently, Murtagh was the Vice President of Sales Operations at Veeam Software. In this role, they were responsible for leading the sales operations team and executing on the company’s go-to-market strategy.

Murtagh has a proven track record of success in sales and marketing operations. Tom is a strategic thinker with a passion for driving results. Tom is a strong leader and motivator, with a proven ability to build and develop high-performing teams.

Tom Murtagh has a MBA from Drexel University and a BS in Economics from Penn State University. Tom also has a certification from WorldatWork as a Certified Sales Compensation Professional.
