Óscar Rovira

Óscar Rovira is the current Director of Web Development at BigML. Óscar has over 10 years of experience in the field of software engineering. Óscar has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Valencia.

Óscar began their career in 2008 as a software engineer at Strands. Óscar worked on various projects, including the development of back-end and front-end features for fitness.Strands.com. In 2009, they were promoted to Operations Controller, where they were responsible for the deployment of the application on pre-production and production environments, as well as the control and maintenance of the continuous integration environments.

In 2011, Óscar left Strands to join DiSiD Technologies, S.L. as a software engineer. Óscar worked on the analysis and technical design of features for components of the Opensource project gvNIX (Java RAD) http://gvnix.org. Óscar also developed components for gvNIX and web applications using gvNIX for the Conselleria d'Infrastructures iTransports of Generalitat Valenciana.

In 2012, Óscar joined BigML as the Director of Web Development. In this role, they are responsible for leading the web development team and overseeing all web development projects.

Óscar Rovira is a computer science engineer who specializes in telematic communications. Óscar studied at the University of Valencia and holds a certification from BigML, Inc. in BigML certified engineering.
