Victor Fuente

Victor Fuente is the VP of Predictive Applications at BigML. Victor has over 10 years of experience in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning. Prior to joining BigML, they were the Director Adjunto del AI Studio at BFA, a global consulting firm that offers solutions and impact to drive broad and sustainable access to financial services. At BFA, Victor was responsible for developing an artificial intelligence practice focused on machine learning and how to apply those techniques to help businesses, both FinTech and traditional sectors such as Telco, Banking, Energy, and Retail, generate sustainable impact at the base of the economic pyramid in emerging countries in Asia, Africa, and Latin America.

Before their time at BFA, Victor was a Strategic Advisor at BigML, Inc. Victor also served as a Professor Associate at Escuela de Organización Industrial and a Mentor at the IMPACT Accelerator. In addition to their academic experience, Victor has also worked in the private sector as a Gerente de Estrategia y Desarrollo Digital at Paginas Amarillas.

Victor Fuente studied at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, where they earned a degree in law.
