Nick Gyurov

Nick Gyurov has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Nick is currently working as the Head of Tech Support Engineering and Head of SysAdmin at BigPay | Challenge Banking since May 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Dell EMC as a Manager, Customer Success from May 2018 to April 2022 and as a Principal Software Engineer from December 2015 to May 2018. Before that, they worked at IBM as a Team Lead, Cyber Security from February 2015 to December 2015 and as a Senior Software Engineer, Cyber Security from April 2013 to February 2015. Nick also has experience working as a Senior Hosting Engineer at Interoute from August 2012 to April 2013, as an SME / Senior Unix Engineer at HP from February 2010 to August 2012, as a Unix Engineer at IBM from April 2009 to February 2010, and as a Consultant, system and network administrator at 1Speed ISP from October 2007 to August 2009. Additionally, they worked as a Technical Support Engineer at AVG from July 2008 to April 2009.

Nick Gyurov has a solid education history with a specialization in finance and computer science. Nick obtained a Bachelor's degree in Finance from the University of finance, business and entrepreneurship, where they studied from 2015 to 2019. Prior to that, they attended the 'Neofit Rilski' Southwest university in Blagoevgrad from 2003 to 2006, focusing on Computer Science. Nick also completed their high school education at 'Peyo Yavorov' High school in Petrich from 1998 to 2003, where they received a High School Diploma with a focus on Computer Science, English, and Mathematics.

Nick acquired the Information Storage and Management certification from Dell Technologies in November 2021. In 2018, they obtained the Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) certification. Nick also holds certifications such as CompTIA A+ CE, CompTIA Linux+, LPIC-1: Linux Server Professional Certification, LPIC-2: Linux Network Professional Certification, SUSE 11 Technical Specialist, SUSE Certified Linux Administrator 11 (SUSE CLA 11), and SUSE Certified Linux Professional (SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 12) obtained in 2014.
