Backend Developer at BIGVU

Mark Oulitin began their career in 2017 as a Construction Engineer assistant at A.E.P Engineering. In 2021, they moved to BIGVU as a Cloud Back End Developer, where they worked on algorithms development and refactored legacy code for audio transcription and captions generation features. In 2022, they took on a role as a Computer Vision Research at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, where they studied Applied Computer Vision and Deep Learning in detecting breast cancer, in cooperation with biologists from the United Kingdom King’s college.

Mark Oulitin completed a Bachelor of Science in Computer Software Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev between 2018 and 2022. Mark then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Applied Computer Vision at cell imaging from the same university, which they completed in 2024.
