Dave Sobal

Dave Sobal is an experienced professional with a diverse background in education, customer service, and advocacy, particularly in the biking and animal care sectors. Currently serving as a Bike Educator within Bike Pittsburgh's Positive Spin Program since June 2016, Dave also works as an Outreach and Membership Specialist for the organization, promoting bicycle and pedestrian advocacy in the greater Pittsburgh area. Previous roles include Tour Guide at Bike The Burg Tours, Aquatics Specialist at Petco, and Adoption Counselor at Animal Friends. Dave has a strong foundation in teamwork and programming from a lengthy tenure at Carnegie Science Center, where responsibilities included managing animal care and educational programs. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Secondary Education and Teaching, with a focus on Biology from William & Mary, and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Earlham College.
