Isabel Luquin Maroto

Isabel Luquin Maroto is a seasoned telecommunications professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as Jefatura de Sección de Redes y Sistemas del Área de Seguridad Ciudadana at Bilbao Udala - Ayuntamiento since January 2021, Isabel previously held the position of Responsable de Telecomunicaciones y Telemando at Consorcio de Aguas Bilbao Bizkaia, managing telecommunications projects and services. Isabel’s earlier tenure at GE as Lead Telecommunications Project Management Specialist involved overseeing post-sale services across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa for industrial telecommunications equipment. Additionally, Isabel managed railway communication systems projects at IDOM Consulting and contributed to software development at Grupo AVALON. Isabel holds a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Escuela de Ingeniería de Bilbao, complemented by international academic experience at Universidade de Vigo.
