Dr. Bernd Niedernberg

Dr. Bernd Niedernberg is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in strategy and mergers and acquisitions. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Group Strategy and M&A at Bilfinger since October 2019, Dr. Niedernberg has a robust background at The Linde Group, where roles spanned from Head of Controlling to Program Director for the merger with Praxair. Previous experience includes positions as CFO and COO of Linde Engineering and as a freelance consultant at goetzpartners. Early career experience includes roles as Senior Consultant at Stern Stewart & Co. and Founding Partner at Venture Cap Holding AG. Dr. Niedernberg began professional training as a Bank Trainee at BHF-BANK and holds a degree from the University of Bayreuth.
