Imad Barake

Imad Barake is a finance executive with over two decades of experience in cyclical, industrial, and capital-intensive businesses. Imad is currently the Finance Director for Engineering & Maintenance NA at Bilfinger.

Barake began their career at Schlumberger in 1998 as a Financial Controller. In 2006, they were promoted to Director of Finance - Transformation and then to Vice President & Chief Financial Officer at Dover Energy in 2016. Most recently, they served as Vice President - Corporate Treasury & M&A at Shawcor from 2017 to 2020.

Barake holds a degree in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin.

Imad Barake has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Arizona. Imad also has an advanced finance program for senior executives from The Wharton School. In addition, they have a finance leaders program from IMD. Imad is also certified from AICPA in Certified Public Accountant and from IIA-The Institute of Internal Auditors as a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA). Imad is also certified from IIA-The Institute of Internal Auditors as a Certified in Risk Management Assurance. In addition, they have certification from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) as a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). Imad is also certified from the Forensic Certified Public Accountants Association as a Forensic Certified Public Accountant (FCPA). Finally, they have certification from the Project Management Institute as a Project Management Professional (PMP).
