Masha Bykin

Masha Bykin is a seasoned data engineering professional with extensive experience in building and managing data architecture and solutions. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Data Warehouse Engineer at BILL since May 2024, Masha supports data engineering and analytics teams to enhance cloud financial software for small and medium-sized businesses. Previously, as a Lead Data Engineer at AutoNation, Masha developed robust data architectures for new business initiatives and improved customer experience through data integrations. Masha has a long tenure at AAA Northern California, Nevada & Utah, where roles included Data Engineering Lead and Applications Portfolio Manager, focusing on data pipeline construction and internal business system enhancement. Earlier experience includes positions at Macromedia as a Senior Software Engineer, where Masha played a key role in developing data warehousing solutions, and at Proxy Communications Inc. as an Information Systems Developer. Masha holds a Bachelor’s degree in Geography & Environmental Studies with a GIS focus, along with a minor in Business Administration from San Francisco State University.
