Allan C. Golston

President, US Program at Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation

Allan C. Golston is the current President of the US Program at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Allan has been with the organization since September 2005, and in their current role is responsible for leading strategic implementation, advocacy, and operations for a $750 million program to catalyze the development of life-saving medical advances and to help ensure they reach the people who are disproportionately affected. Prior to this role, they served as the Interim Executive Director of the Global Health Program and as the Chief Financial and Administrative Officer, overseeing Operations including HR, IT, Finance, Facilities, and Security for offices in the United States and India.

Golston began their career in finance and administration at the University of Colorado Hospital where they served as the Director of Finance and Controller from May 1993 to August 1997. Allan then went on to serve as the Director of Finance at Swedish Medical Center from August 1997 to January 2000 before returning to the University of Colorado Hospital as Director of Finance and Administration in January 2000.

Allan C. Golston graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Colorado Boulder. Allan then went on to obtain their Master of Business Administration from Seattle University.
