Julia Drost

Julia Drost currently serves as a Senior Officer on the Governing Board at the Gates Foundation since October 2022. Prior to this role, Julia held the position of Chief of Staff at Population Services International from October 2018 to October 2022 and at the International Center for Research on Women from October 2015 to October 2018, where responsibilities included managing the Office of the President and supporting strategic planning and visibility initiatives. Additionally, Julia has experience at Amnesty International USA, where roles included Advisor for the Women's Human Rights Program and Gender Policy Advocate, focusing on legislative initiatives such as the International Violence Against Women Act. Julia Drost earned a Master of Science in Gender, Policy, and Inequalities from The London School of Economics and Political Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and English from the University of Vermont.
