Oleg Borisov

Oleg Borisov began their work experience as a post-doctoral researcher at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory in 2000, where they worked until 2001. Oleg then joined Magellan Labs as a Scientist from 2001 to 2002, followed by Analytica of Branford as a Scientist from 2002 to 2004. In 2005, they worked as a Research Associate at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and as a Scientist at Genentech. From 2011 to 2013, they served as a Principal Scientist at Amgen before becoming an Executive Director at Novavax from 2013 to 2019. Oleg then held the role of Senior Director of Analytical Development at Paragon Bioservices, Inc. from 2019 to 2020. Since 2020, they have been working as a Senior Consultant, Analytical SME at Tunnell Government Services, Inc., supporting the development of vaccines and biotherapeutics for the prevention and treatment of COVID-19. In 2022, Oleg joined the Bill & Melinda Gates Medical Research Institute as an Analytical Development Leader.

Oleg Borisov obtained their Master of Science degree in Chemistry from Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) between 1985 and 1992. After that, they pursued further education and completed their PhD in Chemistry at Wayne State University from 1992 to 1997.
