The continuing goal is to create meaningful and rewarding learning experiences that will remain with the children for life. The aim is to create a purpose of learning to allow children to be thinkers, innovators and problem solvers and to orchestrate experiences that will result in a natural and integrated development of knowledge, skills and thinking. Overall, at Billabong High, the aim is to empower all the students with the necessary life skills required to meet the demands of a fast paced highly evolving 21st century. Billabong High International School in the Maldives was opened on 8th February 2009. It was the first international school that was opened in Male, the capital island of the country. We offer education to students from Grades 1 to 12, beginning from primary to the completion of secondary IGCSE & A Levels , to a student population of about 800 students. A small class size of approximately 24 students, and 2 to 3 classes within each grade, ensures that all our students get special attention in their classrooms and in all school activities.
