Burak Gunes

Burak Gunes is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in risk management and analytics. Currently serving as Chief Risk Officer at Billd since November 2022, Burak Gunes is responsible for enhancing account and project underwriting and shaping the company's vision to improve shareholder value. Prior to this role, Burak Gunes held the position of Chief Risk and Analytics Officer at Foundation Finance Company LLC, where responsibilities included optimizing credit policy and developing a high-performing analytics team. Burak Gunes’ career at Capital One spanned 16 years, with roles such as Head of Cobrand Credit and Chief of Staff in Consumer Credit, where expertise in credit strategy and risk management was honed across multiple divisions.
