Arvind Babu

Arvind Babu has extensive work experience in various roles related to data engineering, analytics, and operations. Arvind is currently working as the Head of Operations(Delivery) at Billigence since 2023. Prior to that, they worked at JCPenney as a Senior Manager - Data, Analytics & Reporting Technology from 2020 to 2023. In this role, they demonstrated leadership by managing a diverse team, defined and managed roadmap and strategy, and maintained data warehouse and data lake environments.

From 2018 to 2020, Arvind worked at Harman, A Samsung Company. Arvind served as a Senior Manager - Data Engineering & Analytics, where they built analytics products using big data and AWS technologies. Arvind also acted as a Manager - Data Engineering & Analytics, monitoring and managing project baseline, executing engagement strategies, and identifying risks and issues. Additionally, they served as an Architect - Product Development, where they monitored and delivered ETL jobs, managed data, and performed analytics.

Arvind's previous experience includes working as a Data Architect at GALE Partners from 2017 to 2018, a Tech Lead at Sonata Software from 2013 to 2017, and a Senior Technical Consultant at Hewlett-Packard Global Soft Pvt Ltd from 2011 to 2013. Arvind also worked as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer at ACS (I) Private Limited (Affiliated Computer Services), A Xerox company from 2005 to 2011.

Arvind pursued an MBA in Technology Management from Anna University from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, they completed their B.Tech in Electronics and Communication from Pondicherry University from 2000 to 2004. Arvind'ssecondary education includes HSC from Kendriya Vidyalaya, where they studied Maths, English, and Science from 1998 to 2000.

In addition to their formal education, Arvind Babu has obtained several certifications. In September 2020, they received a basic Python certification from HackerRank. In July 2020, they completed courses in "Apache Spark 3 - Spark Programming in Scala for Beginners" from Udemy, "Data Science for Business" from DataCamp, and "Motivating and Engaging Employees" from LinkedIn. In May 2020, they obtained a certification in Tableau Consumer from Tableau Software.
