Martin Grossmann

Martin Grossmann has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Martin started their career in 2012 as a Navigational Officer at MST Mineralien Schiffahrt Spedition und Transport GmbH, where they gained experience in navigating and operating bulk and slurry cargo vessels, crew management, and safety/emergency training. In 2019, they joined Safetec Nordic AS as a Model Developer, where they developed and tested a model for the detection of dangerous ship manoeuvres as part of their Master's thesis. Martin used skills such as Python, SQL, data analysis, risk assessment, and ship navigation. Martin then transitioned to a role as a Reliability Engineer at Zuri in 2019, where they worked until 2021. Currently, they are working as a BI Analyst at Billigence since May 2021.

Martin Grossmann has a diverse educational background in the field of maritime engineering and transport. Martin obtained their Bachelor's degree in Maritime Transport from the Maritime University of Szczecin from 2012 to 2015. Following that, they pursued their Master of Science (MS) degree in Marine Engineering - Ship Design, Production, and Operation from Delft University of Technology, which they completed from 2017 to 2019.

In addition to their formal education, Martin has also acquired several certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. Martin completed the "AutoCAD 2020 Essential Training" course from LinkedIn in November 2019. In October 2016, they obtained the "Maritime Resource Management" certification from ALL Academy International AB. Prior to that, in September 2015, they received the "Officer in Charge of a Navigational Watch" certificate from the Maritime Office in Szczecin, Poland. Martin also completed the "GMDSS" course in June 2015 and the "Bridge Team Management" course in May 2015, both from the Training Centre for Marine Officers in Szczecin. Lastly, Martin obtained the "IELTS C1" certification from Cambridge English in May 2015.
