Asheq Hamid

Asheq Hamid has a solid work experience in the software engineering field. Asheq is currently employed at Billtrust as a Senior Software Engineer since 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Cognizant Softvision as a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer from 2018 to 2021.

Before joining Cognizant Softvision, they worked at Sonos, Inc. as a Software Engineer from 2015 to 2018. During their time at Sonos, they mainly focused on ASP.Net web application development.

Asheq also has experience working at EBSCO Information Services as a Software Engineer from 2012 to 2015. Here, they worked as a Process Controller for AWS Distributed System.

Their work experience also includes being a Web Master at the University of Texas at Arlington from 2011 to 2012. In this role, they were responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining websites using .NET Framework.

Asheq's early work experience includes working as a Software Engineer at Ankur ICT Development Foundation from 2009 to 2010. Asheq primarily worked on Information and Communication Technology projects using Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) and tools. One notable project they were involved in was the development of "Wordforge", a Localization IDE which integrated various features such as string matching, spellchecker, thesaurus, and glossary.

Asheq Hamid completed their B.Sc degree in Computer Science & Engineering at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology from 2004 to 2009. Asheq then pursued further education and earned their Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Arlington, studying from 2010 to 2013.
