Giovanni Pancorvo

Giovanni Pancorvo has a diverse work experience in various IT roles. Giovanni is currently working as a Senior System Engineer at Billtrust since May 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Thales from April 2015 to May 2021 as a Network Operations Manager. In this role, they ensured the stable operation of computer hardware, software systems, and network infrastructure. Giovanni also managed tactical and strategic operations for production systems supporting in-flight entertainment systems, and implemented new processes and procedures based on ITIL framework.

Before joining Thales, Giovanni worked at TravelClick as a System Administrator from September 2013 to April 2015. In this role, they administered corporate servers, performed trend analysis, proposed configuration changes for data redundancy and backup, and maintained and patched servers on a monthly basis. Prior to that, they were a Technical Support Engineer at TravelClick from September 2011 to September 2013.

Giovanni's earlier work experience includes working at EA as a Service Desk L2 - Lead from September 2009 to October 2011. In this role, they created documentation for service desk procedures, improved new hire account creation process, developed a script to convert software security tokens, and provided support to over 10,000 employees worldwide.

Giovanni Pancorvo obtained their first certification in 2009 from New Horizons Computer Learning, where they earned certifications in A+, Network +, MCP, MCSA, and CCENT in the field of Computer Science. Later, from 2010 to 2014, they attended Valencia College and earned a degree in Computer Science.

In 2014, Giovanni Pancorvo enrolled at Western Governors University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Business IT Management with a focus on Computer Science. Giovanni completed this program in 2018.

After finishing their bachelor's degree, Giovanni Pancorvo continued their education at Western Governors University from 2018 to 2019. During this time, they pursued a Master of Science degree in IT Management.

In terms of certifications, Giovanni Pancorvo obtained the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) from the Project Management Institute in November 2019. Giovanni further enhanced their skillset by obtaining the Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate certification from Microsoft in March 2021. Most recently, in April 2021, Giovanni Pancorvo achieved the CKAD: Certified Kubernetes Application Developer certification from The Linux Foundation.
