Lauren Scalice

Lauren Scalice has had a range of work experiences, starting in 2018 as a Summer Software Engineering Intern at Skylink Technology Inc. where they conducted research on USB interfaces, the Linux operating system, and signal processing. In 2019, they worked as an Instructor/Technology Coordinator at iD Tech Camps, where they solved time-sensitive issues related to Linux, pi-top hardware/software/OS, and robot connections. Lauren also taught middle school students computer architecture and Python coding. From 2020 to 2021, Lauren worked as a Software Developer Intern at Billtrust, developing and testing C# microservices and improving the data ingestion microservice. In 2022, they joined Billtrust as an Associate Developer. Throughout their experiences, Lauren has utilized Agile development practices and test-driven development.

Lauren Scalice completed their education in computer engineering at Villanova University. From 2017 to 2021, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in this field. Following their undergraduate studies, Lauren continued their academic journey at the same institution and earned a Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Villanova University from 2020 to 2022.
