Roland Homoki

Roland Homoki started their work experience in 2009 as the owner of Nice & Clean, where they successfully built the company from scratch and established it as one of the top cleaning companies in the capital area. Their responsibilities included marketing, administration system setup, employee hiring and training, quality control, and customer communication.

In 2019, Roland joined AltaPay as a Software Developer. Roland played a key role in implementing 3D Secure 2 and contributed to the modernization of the platform by transitioning to industry-standard solutions. Roland also took on DevOps responsibilities and worked on eCommerce gateway development, CI/CD tooling, and payment reconciliation implementation.

From 2021 to 2022, Roland worked as a Software Developer at Aconto.ai, where they helped build a cloud-based scalable backend from scratch. Roland participated in designing the solution from the beginning, ensuring it was easily maintainable and extensible. Their tasks included microservices design/development, CI/CD implementation in GitLab, and open banking integration using ISO20022 global standard.

Currently, Roland is employed at Billwerk+ Denmark as a Software Developer, starting in 2022. Further details about their role and responsibilities are not provided.

Roland Homoki obtained their Academic Professional (AP) degree in Computer Science from KEA - Københavns Erhvervsakademi in 2017. Later, in 2018, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Software Development from the same institution.
