Katherine Echols Speaker

Katherine Echols Speaker has a significant amount of experience in the fashion industry. Katherine started their career in 2008 as a Freelance PR Assistant for Ralph Lauren, where they provided administrative assistance to the department. Katherine then moved on to become a Design Assistant in Neckwear Design, where they assisted the Senior Vice President and the neckwear design team with the preparation and presentation of various neckwear brands. In 2010, they were promoted to Associate Product Design Manager for Men's Design in Neckwear. In this role, they managed and oversaw the entire design process for multiple neckwear brands, as well as assisting in the design and development of other products. Additionally, they worked on special projects such as US Open Neckwear and the 2012 Summer Olympics Neckwear. In 2012, Katherine became a Product Design Manager for Men's Design in Neckwear, where their responsibilities remained similar, but they also started seasonally traveling to Europe for inspiration and research purposes. Katherine joined Billy Reid in 2014 as a Product Manager for Men's Tailored Clothing and Dress Furnishings and steadily progressed to roles such as Senior Product Manager and Senior Manager of Production and Development for both Men's and Women's sectors. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Product Development and Production at Billy Reid.

Katherine Echols Speaker earned a Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising/Textiles from The University of Georgia, graduating in the year 2007.
