Harold McGruther, Jr. has a long history of working in the action sports and motorsports industries. In 1982, they began their career as the Marketing Manager for Torker BMX. harold then became the Associate Editor for Hi-Torque Publications in 1984. In 1985, they were the Marketing and Team Manager for CW Racing. harold then moved on to GT Bicycles in 1986 as the Special Projects Coordinator and Product Manager. In 1989, they became the Product and Marketing Manager for Mongoose Bicycles. In 1991, they founded and became partner of Revolution Advertising, an advertising, design, and brand-development agency. In 2009, they co-founded ChopCult.com, an online media platform for custom motorcycle builders and riders. Finally, in 2005, they co-founded Biltwell Inc., a company that designs, manufactures, markets, and sells motorcycle hard parts, accessories, and riding gear. harold also served as the Co-founder and Product Manager for Biltwell Inc.

Harold McGruther, Jr. attended Schwinn Mechanic's School from 1977 to 1977, where they received the degree of Grease Monkey Emeritus. harold then attended State College of Florida-Manatee-Sarasota, but did not complete their degree in Journalism.
