Chris Metcalf

Chris Metcalf has extensive experience in engineering management and platform operations, currently serving as the Engineering Manager for Integrations at Binti since March 2024. Previously, Chris held multiple roles at Amperity from April 2018 to January 2024, including Director of Platform Support & Operations and Senior Manager of Platform Support & Operations, where Chris directed teams responsible for post-implementation tenant support and the reliable delivery of data through AI-driven pipelines. Prior to Amperity, Chris worked at Socrata for a decade, progressing through various positions, including Director of Solutions Engineering and Director of Product Development & Developer Evangelism, where Chris led pre-sales efforts and managed software development processes. Earlier career experience includes project and product management roles at Amazon and software development positions at IBM, along with a strong academic foundation in Software Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering from the University of Michigan.
