Laura R. Kemp

Laura R. Kemp has over 13 years of work experience in various roles within the healthcare industry. Most recently, they served as the Director of Product Development at binx health since November 2021. Before that, they worked at Yourgene Health as the Lead Scientist, leading a team in early product development phases focused on precision medicine and reproductive health. From 2016 to 2021, Laura worked at genedrive plc, initially as the IVD Trials Manager and later as the Assay Development Manager. Laura R. gained experience in molecular assay design, optimization, verification, validation, and diagnostic study data analysis. Prior to that, they held positions as a Senior Assay Development Scientist and Protein Scientist at Epistem Ltd., where they were involved in late-stage IVD product development, clinical trial site training, QC process development, and protein test agent preparation for stem cell factor development. Laura's earlier experience includes working as a Research Technician at the University of Kent.

Laura R. Kemp completed their education at The University of Manchester, where they earned a PhD in Biochemistry from 2009 to 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a BSc in Biochemistry from the University of Kent from 2004 to 2007. In addition to their formal education, Laura has obtained several certifications, including Guy Kawasaki on Turning Life Wisdom into Business Success from LinkedIn in 2023, and Design of Experiments, Exploratory Data Analysis, and Statistical Thinking and Problem Solving from SAS in 2021.
