Pia Olson

Pia joined Binx in March of 2022 as their Senior Vice President of Human Resources. She is a strategic HR leader with over 20 years of extensive experience in all Human Resources functions. Pia has held leadership roles at multiple large and small life science companies, both public and private, including Wyeth, Pfizer, Lantheus Medical Imaging, and Ora, Inc. Her strength is partnering with executive leaders to get the most value out of their people and organizations, and using people-centric strategy to help drive the strategic direction of the business. Pia is a transparent leader who focuses on creating a culture of inclusivity where every employee feels valued, and heard and understands the important part they play in the overall mission of the organization. Pia has also led multiple before-school science programs for Massachusetts elementary students, as well as served as a corporate member of the Massachusetts Biotech Council to create biotech training programs for underserved communities. Prior to her career in HR, Pia worked as a Microbiologist for Genetics Institute. She holds a B.S. degree in Molecular Biology from Holy Cross College.
