Brandon Means has a diverse work experience that spans over several industries. Brandon has recently worked as a Fermentation and Recovery Lead at BIO-CAT Microbials since April 2022. Prior to that, they were a Senior Process Lead at Molson Coors Beverage Company from November 2015 to April 2022. Earlier in their career, Brandon worked as a Student Intern at MillerCoors in July 2015, a Warehouse Distribution Specialist at McMaster-Carr from May 2014 to January 2015, and a Cellar Manager at Jekyll Brewing from July 2013 to February 2014. Brandon also served as an Intern at Red Hare Brewing in June 2012. Additionally, Brandon has experience outside of the brewing industry, having worked as a Receiving Manager at Barnes & Noble from August 1998 to October 2011. Brandon began their career in the United States Air Force as a Munitions Systems Journeyman from August 1994 to July 1998. Throughout their various roles, Brandon has demonstrated expertise in fermentation, process leadership, warehouse distribution, cellar management, and munitions systems.

Brandon Means completed a Master Brewer Program at the University of California, Davis in 2015. Brandon also obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biology, General from Georgia Gwinnett College, finishing in 2013. In addition to their formal education, Brandon has obtained several certifications, including "JavaScript Essential Training" and "Becoming an Ally to All" from LinkedIn in January and December 2022, respectively.
