Mojtaba Zaifnejad

Mojtaba Zaifnejad has extensive work experience in the agricultural field. Mojtaba is currently employed as the Sr. Director of Field Research and Technical Services at Bio Huma Netics, Inc, where they design and implements research projects to assess the effectiveness of their products on crop yield and economic benefits. Mojtaba also builds collaborative relationships with researchers and supports field representatives, distributors, farmers, and growers.

Prior to this, Mojtaba worked as an Agronomist Research Scientist at BiOWiSH Technologies. In this role, they researched the effects of organic and conventional biostimulants and biofertilizers on agronomy crops and horticultural plants. Their research focused on soil water retention, water holding capacity, soil fertility, microbiology, plant rhizosphere, and microbiome.

Before joining BiOWiSH Technologies, Mojtaba worked as a Crop Advisor, meeting with farmers to discuss production issues and prescribe corrective measures based on soil, plant, and water analysis. Mojtaba held this position from 2002 to 2016.

Mojtaba also has experience in logistics and plant production. Mojtaba worked as a Logistics Manager at Milgro Nursery, where they coordinated the shipment of flowers to various parts of the U.S. and Canada. Mojtaba then transitioned to the role of Production and Planning Manager, where they managed plant production and harvest, as well as designed an integrated pest management program for controlling plant diseases and pests. Mojtaba also utilized StockFlow software to plan production of mum cuttings for sales.

Overall, Mojtaba Zaifnejad has a diverse range of experience in research, agriculture, and management roles within the agricultural industry.

Mojtaba Zaifnejad holds a Ph.D. in Agronomy- Crop Science, which they obtained from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln between 1989 and 1993. Prior to that, they completed their master's degree in Agronomy and Crop Science from Brigham Young University from 1986 to 1988. Mojtaba also holds a bachelor's degree in Agronomy and Crop Science from Brigham Young University, which they earned from 1980 to 1984. In terms of additional certifications, Mojtaba obtained a Pest Control Advisor certification from the State of California in January 2016.
