Mojtaba Zaifnejad has extensive work experience in the agricultural field. Mojtaba is currently employed as the Sr. Director of Field Research and Technical Services at Bio Huma Netics, Inc, where they design and implements research projects to assess the effectiveness of their products on crop yield and economic benefits. Mojtaba then transitioned to the role of Production and Planning Manager, where they managed plant production and harvest, as well as designed an integrated pest management program for controlling plant diseases and pests. Mojtaba also utilized StockFlow software to plan production of mum cuttings for sales.

Mojtaba Zaifnejad holds a Ph.D. in Agronomy- Crop Science, which they obtained from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln between 1989 and 1993. Prior to that, they completed their master's degree in Agronomy and Crop Science from Brigham Young University from 1986 to 1988. Mojtaba also holds a bachelor's degree in Agronomy and Crop Science from Brigham Young University, which they earned from 1980 to 1984. In terms of additional certifications, Mojtaba obtained a Pest Control Advisor certification from the State of California in January 2016.
