Henk Achterberg

Henk Achterberg has a strong background in supply chain and logistics management. Henk began their career at Kimberly-Clark in 1987 as the European Distribution Manager. In 1999, Henk joined Applied Biosystems as the Senior Manager of European Distribution, and later became the Director of International Warehousing & Logistics. In 2008, they joined Life Technologies as the Senior Director of Strategic Marketing & Global Operations. Henk then served as the Managing Director and Head of EMEA Supply Chain at Life Technologies. In 2011, they moved to Icelus Holding BV as the General Manager before joining Bio-Rad Laboratories in 2013 as the Head of Supply Chain for Europe & Emerging Markets.

Henk Achterberg completed a Master's degree in Transport and Logistics Management (MTL) from Tilburg University in 2006-2007. Prior to this, they completed a Master's degree in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from TIAS School for Business and Society in 2005-2006.
