Kyle Boyar

Kyle Boyar serves as a Field Application Scientist II specializing in cannabis at Bio-Rad Laboratories, providing technical support across North America. Kyle is also the Chair of CANN, the Cannabis Chemistry Subdivision of the American Chemical Society, and a Board Member for the Cannabis Program at the National Registry of Certified Chemists, contributing to the development of cannabis chemistry certification. As Principal at KB Consultations LLC, consulting services focus on the cannabis sector, particularly microbiological testing. With prior experience as Director of Product Science at TagLeaf and a Staff Research Associate at UC San Diego, Kyle has significant expertise in cannabis testing technologies and operational management in laboratory settings. Kyle holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
