Lei Huang

Lei Huang is a highly skilled scientist with extensive experience in biomedical research, currently serving as a Staff Scientist at Bio-Rad Laboratories since April 2021. Prior roles include Senior Scientist at Bio-Rad, Scientist at ALSTEM, INC, and Postdoctoral Research Scientist positions at Loma Linda University Medical Center and the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio. Lei's expertise includes leading lentiviral packaging teams, producing induced pluripotent stem cell products, and developing in vivo and in vitro disease models for therapeutic evaluation related to stroke and brain injury. Education includes a Ph.D. in Pathophysiology/Neuroscience from Peking University and an M.D. from Taishan Medical University.
