Norjin Zolboot, PhD, currently serves as a Postdoctoral Associate at Scripps Research, where the focus includes developing strategies for restoring gene expression in haploinsufficiency models and investigating microRNA-mediated mechanisms in cerebellar Purkinje cell development using CRISPR technologies. Previous experience includes significant contributions in Dr. Giordano Lippi's lab as a Graduate Student Researcher, where novel microRNA roles in Purkinje cell development were identified, alongside the development of innovative methods for manipulating microRNA functions. Early research endeavors include roles as a Rotation Student in various labs, including assisting in mechanosensor screenings and characterizing cryptochrome interactions in circadian biology. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Neuroscience from Scripps Research and a BS in Biology from Nagoya University.
