Rob Felix

Rob Felix has a diverse background in the biotech and pharmaceutical industries. Rob started their career as a post-doctoral scientist at the University of Cambridge, where they focused on studying gene expression at the single cell level. Rob then worked at Oxford Glycosciences as a Senior Scientist, developing new assays and identifying potential targets for oncology drug discovery. After that, they joined UCB Pharma as a Senior Scientist, project managing early stage drug discovery projects and utilizing imaging techniques for cell-based assays. In 2007, they joined Tocris Bioscience as a Product Manager, responsible for product identification, sourcing, and lifecycle management. Rob was later promoted to Senior Product Manager, where they led the commercialization of new technologies and in-licensed new products. Most recently, they joined Bio-Techne as the Head of Product for Tocris, where they work with all aspects of the company to bring new research reagents to the market and expand their portfolio in the life sciences.

Rob Felix holds a PhD in Pharmacology from the University of Cambridge, which they obtained from 1997 to 2001. Prior to that, they completed their BSc in Biochemistry at the University of Bath from 1993 to 1997. Rob also has additional certifications, including PMC Levels I, II, and III from the Pragmatic Institute in 2022, as well as a certification in Optimal Product Management and Product Marketing from The 280 Group in 2018.
