Suzanne Mertens

Suzanne Mertens is a Spatial Biology Consultant at Bio-Techne, focusing on advanced cell diagnostics since March 2022. Prior to this role, Mertens worked as a Field Application Scientist at Sony Biotechnology Inc. from 2016 to 2022, supporting pre- and post-sales activities in flow cytometry. Mertens has extensive experience as an Application Scientist at Research Logic Group from 2008 to 2016, implementing and analyzing new assays for flow cytometry. Additional positions include managing technical aspects as an eBioscience Account Manager at Affymetrix from 2013 to 2015, serving as a Flow Cytometry Consultant under RLG at CSI Laboratories, and providing training on flow cytometry software at Tree Star LLC. Mertens holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Biology from Georgia Institute of Technology and has also held various roles in research and web content development throughout a diverse career in the life sciences sector.
