Mark Nelson

Sr. Principal Scientist at BioAgilytix

Mark Nelson has over 29 years of experience in developing and validating biomarker, cell-based, immunogenicity, immuno- and enzymatic assays. Mark has worked at BioAgilytix Labs, Inc. since 2012 as a Sr. Principal Scientist, where they are responsible for coordinating and executing experiments efficiently and proficiently. Mark also provides leadership and mentoring to the scientific team. Prior to that, they worked at Grifols, Inc. from 2000 to 2012 as a Research Scientist/Sr. Associate Research Scientist I & II, conducting GLP compliant experiments and managing contracts with CROs. From 1992 to 2000, they worked at Bayer Animal Health as a Sr. Quality Control Microbiologist, where they co-developed, validated, and transferred ELISA tests for virus quantification and bacterial animal bioassays.

Mark Nelson attended Northwest Missouri State University from 1983 to 1987, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Pre-Professional Zoology.
