Pradeep Reddy

Pradeep Reddy, Ph.D., is a seasoned scientist currently serving as a Senior Principal Scientist at Altos Labs since June 2022. Prior to this role, Pradeep spent nearly a decade at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies, advancing from Research Associate to Staff Scientist, where innovative research focused on developing mitochondrial genome editing technologies aimed at preventing the transmission of mitochondrial diseases. Pradeep also gained postdoctoral experience at Stanford University School of Medicine, exploring the role of oocyte linker histone in somatic cell reprogramming. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Signal Transduction, Biochemistry, and Reproductive Biology from Umeå University, a Master's degree in Biotechnology from Bharathidasan University, and a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from Osmania University.
