Gabrielle Ahlberg Hillert

Gabrielle Ahlberg Hillert has extensive experience in the medical and pharmaceutical industry. Gabrielle is currently working at BioArctic as the Senior Medical Director and Deputy Chief Medical Officer. Prior to this, they worked at Lundbeck, where they held multiple roles including Senior Director of Clinical Science, Senior Director of the Neurodegeneration Department, and Chief Medical Expert. From 2013 to 2017, Hillert served as the Medical Lead at the New Karolinska Programme Office at Karolinska University Hospital. Gabrielle also worked at AstraZeneca R&D as the Head of Neuroscience Early Clinical Development, Licensing Medical Director CNS&Pain, Clinical Lead at MedImmune Center of Excellence, Neuroscience Therapy Area Clinical Director, and Senior Research Physician. Earlier in their career, they were a Nordic Medical Advisor at sanofi-aventis.

Gabrielle Ahlberg Hillert has a Bachelor of Medicine (MD) degree from Karolinska Institutet, which was earned between 1981 to 1986. Gabrielle also has a PhD in Molecular Neurogenetics from Karolinska Institutet, which was completed in 1998. Additionally, they hold a specialist degree in neurology from Karolinska Hospital in Sweden, which was achieved in 1997.
